'Ugh! As if!'

Now that the art of searching back in time to find the greatest fashion trends ever created is at it's peak, i think i may have found one of my favourites! CLUELESS. With celebrities such as Iggy Azalea even re-creating the movie in their music videos you can just tell this one is going to be around for a while!

I thought that i'd share some of my top picks that i've found while online window shopping, is that even a thing? I think these will be extremely on trend for those brisk summer days that we have in England.

My first stop was New Look, i found these plaid skirts which just have clueless written all over them! they're around about knee length and have sort of a felt effect, i love the baby shades of blue and pink in these skirts and i think they would match perfectly with a white t-shirt crop top and some white knee high socks and if it's still quite chilly you could pair them with a fitted jacket or boyfriend blazer.

Next on my internet travels i dropped into River island where i found this extremely beautiful short suit. I love the intricate floral detailing which is repeated all over this duo, the peachy pastel colours just scream out spring for me! The high neckline of the jacket adds a slight hint of the 90's, this short suit brings up to date the clueless wardrobe perfectly. I think this would be super cute for a night out with a chiffon cami or button up and some pale patent leather stilettos. Word of warning- the jacket is an online exclusive but the shorts can be purchased in store!

Obviously i had to have a browse through Topshop! And i have to say this was my favourite shop of them all. First of all i found this cute cropped tile jacket i thought this would be perfect to team with a pair of jeans to keep the outfit casual but still on trend- the freyed trim makes the piece look super classy and elegant! Next i stumbled upon this extremely clueless-style suit. I loved the scalloped detailing along the bottom hem of the jacket and the baby pink plaid is perfectly 90's, i love that it's paired with a white cami instead of the white cropped tee as i think this makes the outfit more suitable for women who don't still prance around like a hyper high school teen. Lastly i thought this duo would be perfect for those who don't want to brave fully bare legs with that mini skirt but still want to be in on the trend! This bralet and pencil skirt still have the scalloped 90's style detailing and bright yellow colours to keep it bang on trend but is a little more elegant and covering. You could pair this perfectly with a white boyfriend blazer or fitted jacket for summer evenings.
I thought these Kurt Geiger court shoes would be perfect to pair with the suit duos for everyday as they are practical with a slight heel, they also stick with the 90's chunky heel style and with match practically everything, these also come in a pale pink colour.
I also found these Kurt Geiger white patent leather stilettos which i thought were so beautiful, i like how the sole is visibly black which adds a monochrome edge to the shoe, these would be perfect to dress-up an outfit if you were to go out on an evening.
What's your favourite trend of 2014 so far?

xoxo
